Learn how Invoke Foundation is empowering individuals with disabilities to lead independent, fulfilling lives.

About Invoke Foundation

Invoke Foundation was founded by an extraordinary individual whose resilience and determination transformed personal adversity into a mission of empowerment. After suffering a spinal cord injury and losing a leg in a devastating disaster, he refused to be defined by his disability. Instead, he embarked on a journey of independence, discovering along the way a profound passion for helping others with disabilities achieve the same freedom. His unwavering spirit and belief in overcoming limitations laid the foundation for what would become Invoke Foundation.
Driven by personal experience, Invoke Foundation was created to inspire, empower, and support individuals with disabilities in leading active, fulfilling lives. The organization is committed to breaking down societal barriers and offering resources, encouragement, and guidance for those seeking to rise above physical limitations. At its core, Invoke Foundation is a beacon of hope, dedicated to fostering independence, inclusion, and the belief that disability should never be a limitation to achieving one’s dreams.

Founder

Lokesh Kumar Gajendra, also known as Sagar Gowda, is a remarkable example of resilience and determination. His journey began in theatre, where he honed his acting skills before transitioning to television and film, becoming a well-known figure.
Tragedy struck when a building under construction collapsed onto his home, resulting in a severe spinal cord injury, the loss of his left leg, and 11 surgeries. Despite being bedridden for two years, Lokesh’s spirit remained unbroken. During his recovery, he founded the Invoke Foundation to empower individuals with disabilities, driven by his desire to help others overcome similar challenges.
Lokesh’s rehabilitation led him to para-swimming, where he excelled, winning medals at state, national, and international levels. His passion for snooker also grew, and with the support of the World Disability Billiards and Snooker (WDBS), he competed internationally, proudly representing India.
His love for the entertainment industry led him to establish Myra Production House and found the Karnataka Disability Billiards and Snooker Association (KDBSA) and the Indian Disability Billiards & Snooker Federation (IDBSF), organizations that promote and support snooker & billiards with disabilities.
Lokesh’s journey is a powerful testament to the strength of the human spirit, inspiring future generations to pursue their dreams despite the odds.
